Launched in April 2025, End Bird Shooting is a project of Protect the Wild.

We have set up this Substack to give End Bird Shooting a focus that the more general Protect the Wild Substack (which posts on hunting with hounds and the badger cull as well as bird shooting and the environment) doesn’t have.

We are writing new posts of course, but also bringing over shooting-specific posts from Protect the Wild. Depending on when you’re reading this we will either have a handful of posts on this Substack - or hundreds! But every single one will be written to advance our campaign to End Bird Shooting.
