Barely worth celebrating is it? To think lead will be completely gone is a fallacy when you look at 'exemptions'. When doing wildlife rescue I had a pet fox (from about 3 months old) that had occasional fits like epilepsy. Vet said it was most likely secondary lead poisoning from the vixen still feeding despite carrying lead herself. Neither the vixen or any other cubs survived. My little fox lived for 8 years with us and was an absolute joy, no problems at all, though he still had the fits so could never be safely released. How many out there suffer unnoticed?

all these problems so that some well heeled buck toothed morons can enjoy blasting defenceless animals. Appalling. This is a tiny positive step, but shows that this government is hardly any more wildlife friendly than the last one
